On the 27th, Singapore held its 4th presidential election. This is the 1st contested elections since the 1993 election. I congratulate Dr Tony Tan as Singapore's 7th president.
I was on my way to my friends house went I spotted this furry critter!
I was on my way to my friends house went I spotted this furry critter!

Musk Shrew, I saved him from meeting in a car accident

Prehensile Tail, really strong one

It also had sharp nails to climb!

Grooming itself

About 3.5 inches long

Photographing with extremely lousy lighting

Very inquisitive in nature

It really reassembles a mouse!
I found the Shrew in the afternoon. However, I was unwilling to release it at that time due to the heavy human traffic, so I waited till it was dark.
Hey Buddy great shots and a lovely find! I'm surprised you could actually handle this shrew. I tried holding a wild one when I was in Singapore but it gave me a fierce bite and ran off. But I'm still glad you managed to save it from an accident. :-)
ReplyDeleteI believe its a juvenile and didn't have teethes sharp enough to bite. Furthermore, it wasn't scary of me, it didn't hesitate to climb over my head (literally) when it had a chance!
