2nd Hike In Bukit Timah

We wanted to spot some nature and animals to relieve stress, thus we went to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve to do exactly that.

This was a very early find during this trip. We found this Big Eye Whip Snake
at the foot of the hill. It stood out because it was resting on a
brown branch.

One of the pics that the snake actually put out its tongue.

Moss pictures on the ground.

Fungi that was located just above the ground on a dying tree.

A very big spider web. I am not very sure if the black spec
there is the spider itself.

Another highlight of the day. This is a Drongo. Exactly which
species of Drongo we are still not sure.

It kept moving around until it finally rest upon this vine.
When we were heading back, we didn't notice that it was
just nearby when we walked pass it and flew off.

A very small forest spider we found when we
were having a water break on the path.

A caterpillar. ~creepy~ hair.

A Trip To Bukit Batok Park

We were bored at home and wanted to see some nature, so we went for a walk in the nature park.

Taken this shot putting our white balance to Tungsten Light. =D

Saw this Squirrel eating when we reached the reserve. This was the
Closest point where we could take it without it being frightened.

A few meters away from the Squirrel, we found this Bird
on the tree branch watching our movements.

A very beautiful Butterfly. My friend found this while we
were heading up to the summit.

An Eagle's nest found on top of the tower
sadly we didnt found any Eagle there on that day.

A very lucky find! We were just fondling the lift litter when this
Clouded Monitor ran off and climbed a tree deep in the forest. My friend
volunteered to go in and took this shot! Job well done ;)

This was the only flower that was white in colour amongst the other pink
ones. Sadly we didn't take pic of the bunch of them.

A mistake that turned out to be a beautiful sight! The colour temperature
and contrast was very high.

ALAS! The "HighLight" of the trip.A Paradise Tree Snake . Another coincidental find.
This snake was only a few centimeters away from us when we found it!
It was very docile and very cooperative. It followed the lens when ever we moved.
We tried holding it but eventually gave up as we didnt want to stress it out.

of water droplets.

Garden Snail

Plants that thrive here are very beautiful!

A bird that happened to drop by when we were taking pics of
the flower above.

This Dragonfly must have been asleep otherwise its not afraid of humans!
This was a very close shot of the Dragonfly. Used User Defination
to enhance the colour and contrast.

The miniature waterfalls.

A bee looking for honey amongst the flowers living there.
